A Fine Frenzy, otherwise known as 22 year-old Seattle born singer-songwriter Alison Sudol, is influenced by early Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald coupled with Beth Orton-style piano driven arrangements which shape her atmospheric, alluring and melodic sound. An anglophile at heart, Alison grew up listening to staples of British music Radiohead and The Smiths, influencing her distinctive sound. The band is already off to a flying start in the US with their debut album "One Cell In The Sea", produced by Lukas Burton and Hal Cragan (former collaborators with Paul McCartney), reaching #3 on Billboard's Top Heatseeker Chart. With two highly successful and warmly received London gigs under their belt at The Bedford Balham and the legendary Troubadour in November, A Fine Frenzy are returning to the UK for more live dates in April supporting Ben's Brother (further live dates to be confirmed).
